Monthly WIC food packages are based on the nutritional needs of the family members enrolled. Your benefits may changes depending on the age of your children and your specific circumstances (pregnant, postpartum breastfeeding, postpartum not breastfeeding).
Your family will receive a Connecticut "eWIC" card that has your monthly benefits loaded onto it to be used at the grocery store like a debit card. This card is directly linked to your WIC benefits account. Your benefits are provided monthly and will not roll over if not used. All benefits must be used by midnight on the benefits end date.
