CIFC Health recently completed renovations on its 152 West Street, Danbury location that serves as an adult behavioral health site . The renovations were funded by a Connecticut Department of Public Health grant and include a new entrance and lobby and expansion into an adjoining part of the building that allowed CIFC Health to add 7 new treatment rooms, thereby expanding capacity for adult behavioral health services.
The renovations also included a complete refresh of the existing space. New air conditioning and lighting were installed, and laminate flooring has replaced older carpeting, providing a cleaner, brighter, more efficient space throughout. All of these changes, as well as new paint and furniture, have the effect of making the space feel cheerier and more inviting for patients. Patients have provided positive feedback on the renovations and updates, and staff have also felt the impact. CIFC Health Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) Laura Albee and Nancy Fawcett noted greater job satisfaction simply by being in the nicer, well-lit environment; describing the difference as “night and day.”
CIFC Health dedicates significant attention and detail to the quality of its facilities to ensure that its physical locations reflect the high quality of care provided by CIFC Health and to ensure our staff are provided with the best possible environments in which to work.
