CIFC Health believes in the effectiveness of vaccines to prevent serious illness and to save lives. Many vaccines have reduced or eliminated diseases in a geographic area, some vaccines prevent the person from contracting a disease and can reduce symptoms of disease should someone become infected. We believe in the benefits and safety of the vaccines CIFC Health offers.
The vaccine schedule CIFC Health follows is recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
One of the most important preventative steps a person can take to protect children and/or selves is to receive the recommended vaccines as appropriate for individual health status.
Because CIFC Health is committed to protecting the health of everyone and the community through vaccination, CIFC Health recommends and encourage all patients to be vaccinated. CIFC Health providers are educated on the vaccines offered or recommended and they are kept up to date with recent vaccine information, recommendations, and changes.
Should you have doubts or concerns about vaccines, please discuss these with a healthcare provider. In some cases, the schedule may be altered to accommodate parental or patient concerns or reservations. VIS (Vaccine Information Statement) sheets are available for all vaccines we administer on site.
As medical professionals, CIFC Health recommends vaccinating on schedule with the appropriate, currently available vaccines to protect all children and adults. Routine vaccines are offered or prescribed in our Adult and Pediatric Primary Care departments as well as our Women’s Health Center. CIFC Health professionals are happy to answer any of your vaccine related questions.
